I got my first major DJ gig through a connection I met on tribe.net. Not only was I flown out for a four hour performance at a conference, all expenses paid, but I got to hire two friends to come along -- a musician and a visuals producer.
The event producers were so pleased at the results, they have indicated that they may hire us again.
